BAITERCELL / Chris Cheltand is a multi-award winning engineer and producer who has worked with many
of NZ's top acts, notable recents include Jakob for their Taite award
winning album 'Sines', Concord Dawn, Shapeshifter, P Money,
Scribe, Kids of 88 and Head Like a Hole.
His
last album 'The Wall of Bass Technique' was a finalist for best
electronic album at the NZ Music Awards, and included 'What's Down Low'
which was ranked in the top 20 NZ best dance tracks of all time last
year and also reached #1 on the Breaks FM World breakbeat sales charts.
These
days he mixes his time between helping out NZ musicians and editing the
Evolutionary biology and philosophy sections of Theoretical Biology
Forum Journal, a leading international academic journal.
